Many of Nashbaits Top Rod boilie recipies contain both oil and water soluble flavours but our understanding of flavour technology enables us to create oil based boilie dips that match our boilies regardless of flavour solubility.
We also developed a method of sweetening the oil dips (there are very few sweeteners that are oil soluble), this is what gives our boilie dips the edge over most dips and also enables us to sweeten and accurately flavour the oil dips.

Nashbaits oil dips do not separate out so the added attraction they create is increased pulling power with the same smells and taste as the boilies. This is very important to us and makes the system of variations on each boilie we make as accurate as possible in the corresponding dip so the angler can confidently use their favorite boilie flavour in the knowledge that the boilie dip will not be a bland down taste but instead will be the added attraction that it should be.

As a general rule boilie dips are a summer product, because of the oil content but the Top Rod boilie dips have proven to be very effective all year, due to the way they are made on our site, with a wide range of flavour elements that are both water and oil soluble. The blends of oils we use are very thin and some are winterized to make them less viscous, which again makes them good for lower water temperatures.

Top Rod boilie dips, being thin and having soluble flavours are brilliant for blending with totally water soluble products such as Carpmino, Amino Liver Concentrate Sense Appeal and Nashbaits food dips. At a 50/50 blend rate the water soluble products semi emulsify the boilie dip reducing the size of the oil globules. This creates a steady stream of pin head oil specks that raise to the surface of dipped baits, releasing attraction into the upper layers of the water to attract fish down to the bottom baits, an excellent method in weed, on silt and in depths up to about 10-12 foot.
