Top Rod Spod Cloud

The intention with our spod mixes was to make up carrier mixes so the angler could add their own little tricks, condensed milk, liquidized particles, liquidized bread and any other additions that turn the spod mix into the desired blend.

The Spod Cloud is a zig rig spod mix, light and cloudy to hang in the upper layers to bring the carp into the zigged hook bait zone. Instead of the normal pure white colour Nashbaits Spod Cloud is much darker, with soluble sugars, cream and milk chocolate attractants and light slow sinking meals. It's extremely tasty as it is and needs no other attractors adding but, it will blend with added liquid attractors as long as they are not neat flavours.

Some of the anglers who helped test the Spod Cloud did add the Fish Frenzy In-juicers and the Top Rod Arousers to great effect. At the Go Fishing show last year we had anglers fishing on one of the lakes, working 5 zig rig rods and at times 2 spod rods. It was absolutely incredible how the fish moved in on the spodded area. Loads of times there was 4 and even 5 rods with fish on and every time a fish was hooked the whole surface area boiled with spooked fish but you could see the fish turn away and then turn straight around again, back into the spod cloud. Those 2 days were amazing and every Fish Frenzy In-Juicer was tried with the Tutti having the finest edge over the plain mix and all the other In-Juicer flavours. The show customers were very impressed as were all our consultants that hadn't seen the Spod Cloud in action before.

We have designed the Spod Cloud to be sweet/chocolate/creamy tasting so it can take a wide range of other flavours should you want to individualize the mix to create an edge over others. After a lot of field testing fruit, cream and nicer smells and tastes proved better than anything to fishy.
